I’m a Blogger!

Oh. My. Goodness!! I really can’t believe that I’m finally blogging. I know that I’ve been telling myself for years that I wanted to start, which would cause me to start tumbling down webpage after webpage and end up somewhere between totally overwhelmed, and doubtful of my entire vision. Everyone has an opinion. Oh, excuse me, “expert advice”, on how to start a blog. They tell you the things that you must have, the money you should “invest”, ways to fail, etc. I would literally waste an entire day just scrolling and watching videos. Not to say that of the information was not helpful, it was just… a lot of information.

It was only until the other day while finishing up a bulletin board for my class that I realized I have all that I need right now. That’s my pen and paper. So I went for it. I came up with ideas of topics, things I’m interested in and then things that I am passionate about. And it became simple. All there is to it is to just do it. Everything else will fall into place.

So now, my mission is to simply write. I am constantly being asked by friends and family for advice about everything from life issues to budgeting as a young family of 6. Even strangers at the grocery store can’t help but stop me. I can’t count how many times I’ve been asked, “What’s it like to have so many kids?” I usually laugh it off, but it’s this constant defining of my life that gives me the drive to create this blog. I’m so excited about the future, even if it’s just to record my thoughts for my children to keep.

Writing has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I hope that this blog creates just as much joy for you to read as it does for me to share. Until the next time, take care!

love ya!
